Felix Annan, the goalkeeper of Asante Kotoko held his team responsible for the painful defeat they experienced from San Pedro. He said that it was due to the attitude shown by the players on the day of the game.
The captain of the side says that the players were not mentally alright. When one sees the mistakes his teammates committed, he cannot think that they had the attitude and the mental toughness to play the game.
Felix Annan while talking about how they lost said that it has been the most painful defeat he has ever experienced.
He holds his all respect for San Pedro. But he doesn’t believe that such a team should stop them from qualifying to the group stage at the present circumstances. He added that this defeat was the most painful one he has yet seen in his entire Kotoko career.
He told on the official website for the club that he doesn’t have the right words to explain it. Their mental toughness and attitude were not present there for the reason that it has been very hurting the way they lost. They should not do such mistakes at any cost right now at this stage.
