Newzealand beat England by 21 runs at Wellington to level the T20 cricket series 1-1. England won the toss and looked clumsy right from the word go. They dropped five catches, made poor start to their batting innings and lost two wickets for three runs.

Newzealand scored 176 in their allotted quota of twenty overs. Jimmy Neesham and Martin Guptil contributed with the bat with 42 and 41 runs respectively. 176 was an average score, taking into consideration the pace in the wicket and small square boundaries but England never took off, collapsed right from the word go in their batting and lost by 21 runs to level the five match series 1-1.
Newzealand spinners made a valuable contribution with the ball and share five wickets conceding 62 runs.
The third T-20 match will be played at Nelson on Tuesday.
