Southhampton were looking for a face-saving as they faced a humiliating loss against Leister. But not to be as they were easily undone by a better side.

Saints, who conceded nine goals against the foxes on Friday, improved a bit and avoided a thumping loss.
Ralph Hassenhuttl’s side was able to curtail the opponents charge and onslought till the 20th minute before the city was able to break the shackles when Nicholas Ottamendi Rose rose high to nod one into the nets.
Sergio kept the momentum going in the favor of Manchester City when he scored the second goal for his side before the closing of first half. This was Sergio Aguero’s 11th goal of the season.
The Argentinian striker made it three nil in the 57th minute of the game to seal the deal for Manchester City.
Southhampton had to wait for 64 minutes before they could make first serious attacking effort on the opponents.
