San Pedro and Kumasi Asante Kotoko are here again today to play on the Baba Yara pitch. They are during their final 45 minutes of their CAF Confederation tie.
There was a heavy rain leaving the pitch soggy, so the officials were forced to suspend the game. The weather was clear in Kumasi and as the CAF rules say, the match is going to start again at 2:00 pm this afternoon.
San Pedro became very angry at the official decision to stop the game. They blamed that the officials were under the influence of the home team.

He said in an interview that this is a disaster that did not happen naturally. The game was supposed to keep on but instead the pitch is not good to play. Their team along with the referee and the match commissioner wished to continue the game but were influenced and threatened by the official people of Asante Kotoko.
He added that a time came when he saw that some fans of Asante Kotoko beat the referee. They were forced to stay in the dressing room for about 40 minutes and no one communicated with them during that time. Kotoko cannot threaten them as a Tunisian owns their team and they ruled CAF. They will file an official complaint to CAF about what happened and details of the incidents at the stadium.
On Sunday, when it was half time, no team was yet able to score a goal but Kotoko are positive that they will easily win today.
