The tiny openings or air waves of lungs of obese people were found to be choked with fats, which could potentially be one of the reasons of direct relationship between asthma and obesity.
Fatty tissues have been found and recovered for the first time in the lungs of over-weight people.
Australian researchers analysed lung samples of 52 people and found higher quantities of fatty content with increase in the body mass index.
The scientists used dyes to study and analyze more than 1400 airways of lungs samples and found higher levels of fatty content namely adipose in the spill ways or airways of lungs.
The higher adipose could possibly result in inflammation of lungs and this could be one reason of asthma. More to come in the near future.
