Vice-President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia took the benefit of an auspicious opportunity of delivering a keynote address at Financial Times Africa Summit, held in London, and showcased the bright side of transformed Ghana before the attendees.

He briefed the audience of Africa Summit what President Akufo-Addo-led administration is doing to formalize Ghana by focusing on digital and inclusive transformation agenda. The Ghanaian government has introduced the digitization project to keep the record of registered land and residential addresses. We have leveraged technology to make the delivery of services available to the public without bribery and corruption. The new mantra of our government is the development of public administration systems to ensure transparency.
Dr. Bawumia further described the issuance of National ID Cards as a game-changer. He mentioned the ongoing Digital Property Addressing process that will tag 4 million houses till the first quarter of 2020. Ghana’s drone delivery service has started for important medical deliveries to far-off places which will further help to save lives.
