Vice President of Ghana, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has departed Ghana on Friday to participate in Financial Times Africa Summit, scheduled to held in London. He will also deliver a keynote address related to the digital transformation of his country and will also attend multiple plenary sessions.

The congregation of world and business leaders will provide him a chance to discuss the ways to further boost Ghana and Africa’s economy. The FT Africa Summit serves as a platform to combine stakeholders and decision-makers. They brainstorms long-lasted solutions to solve Africa’s challenges. Meanwhile, this year’s session will have special focus on youth, women, tycoons, scientists, and artists, organizers revealed.
South African President, Cyril Ramaphosa, Chief Economist of Standard Chartered Bank, Razia Khan, Founder, and CEO of Mo Ibrahim Foundation, Mo Ibrahim will also take part in this year’s FT Summit. Dr. Bawumia will return back to Ghana on October 16 after attending the summit and other engagements.
