The Israeli Ambassador to Ghana has repeated the commitment to support the government of Ghana on sustainable water and waste solutions to combat water challenges.

The pledge was reviewed during a meeting between the Ghanaian Minister of Sanitation and Water Resources, Cecilia Dapaah and Israeli Ambassador, Shani Cooper. She further said that her country will keep providing smart solutions to meet with the Ghanaian water and sanitation challenges. Government-to-government meetings will also help in achieving the commitment of water and waste solutions.
Cecilia Dapaah said that the government of Ghana will emphasize to invest more in the water and sanitation sector. Cecilia also informed the Israeli ambassador that she will supervise its country delegation to take part in Watec 2019. The conference is going to take place in Tel Aviv, Israel next month.
The Watec Conference and Exhibition is an important world-wide event representing researchers, stockholders, experts, decision-makers and reformers from all across the globe to Israel. The event also helps to evaluate new ideas, bring innovative solutions and also help to forecast challenges in the future.
Israel has earned the title of the world leader in water reclamation for household, farming, and industrial uses. The government initiatives and policies have enabled the country to overcome its water management challenges. It reuses 80% of wastewater in the agriculture sector.
