Andre Ayew, the Ghana international player scored his first goal of the English Championship on Wednesday. The manager of Swansea City, Steve Cooper considers this strike as a sign that good things will come.
The Jack Army is not at the top of the league table because of the win.
Cooper said after the game that he admits that Andre is playing good.
He added that he thought that he played well against Reading. He knows that he got a disappointment as he was not able to score ad missed the chance. This same thing one week earlier at Bristol City.
He just told Ayew that they are coming; he just needs the first one.
He scored tonight and hopefully, he will forget the bad match and go on to do better.
He believed that all of the forward players play well. Yan Dhanda did not miss his chance, Borja [Baston] works really hard for all the goals that he makes, and Bersant Celina, in the same way as Andre seemed to be real person to give a tough time all night.
Cooper was really happy with all of the team, they seemed dangerous. Andre played a wonderful game and became a good example of a threatening player.
Till this time, Ayew played eight Swansea’s games. He was the one to start seven of these matches and he provided three assists.
He also scored a couple of goals in the League Cup.
In the last term, the 29-year-old came back to Liberty Stadium after a loan lasting for the whole season at Turkish side Fenerbahce.
