
Dr Ibrahim Anyars Imoro, Chief Executive Officer of the Nation Builders Corps flaunted the massive advantages of NABCO. The institute aimed to provide jobs to all jobless youngsters.
Dr Anyars said president ordered to team up the graduated youngsters so he will provide the jobs on large scale. Dr Anyars said the president’s priority is to invest in youth. He delivered this statement during the convention held Upper East Regional Town Hall Meeting. Further, he disclosed the monthly salary of NABCO trainees which is GHS700. He encouraged youngsters to join the scheme.
“The President, Nana Akufo-Addo is a believer in the youth as the future and thus considers their empowerment an essential part of his vision for a Ghana Beyond Aid. By the huge investment, these graduates will be the first to access opportunities of the envisioned transformed nation. This is simply an investor in people President. The initial doubts over sustainability considering its sheer scale have not been borne out. The arguments were relative to sustainability bothering on two issues: the funding for the scheme as well as the exit arrangements. On funding, the government has kept its side of the bargain with payments.”
