Iran has strongly reacted on US deceit and Mike Pompeo’s statements of accusing it of carrying out devastating drone strikes on two oil facilities of Saudi Kingdom. Foreign Minister Javad Zarif has insisted that accusing Iran for the attacks will not end the Yemen disaster. Meanwhile, the world oil prices are expected to rise as drone strikes declined oil production to 5.7 million barrels.
Earlier, drone strikes in two oil facilities of Saudi Arabia have reduced the country’s oil production to half. Houthi rebels claim the responsibility of both attacks but Secretary of State Mike Pompeo dismissed their involvement. He accused Iran of being behind the drone attacks but Iran derides these claims and blamed the US for deceit instead.
The experts have fears that oil prices will significantly increase in the market by tomorrow. Houthis have sent 10 drones for attacking the Abqaiq plant and the Khurais oilfield. However, Mr. Pompeo claimed that no evidence found at the sites that the drones sent from Yemen. Mr. Zarif insisted that the US and its allies failed to get military victory in Yemen with weapon superiority.
Iran-US relations soured after President Donald Trump quit from the nuclear deal and impose sanctions on Iran. The United States has also accused Iran of other attacks on oil supplying sites in the area.
