Ghanaian footballer, Asamoah Gyan has finally revealed the main reason behind being completely unbothered by the entire backlash. There is no doubt in the fact that Asamoah Gyan is one of the many Ghanaian celebrities who have the habit of failing the nation on and off without any explanation.
Football is one of the sports which Ghanaians are super crazy and they never miss any game through Live Streaming GTV. The people of Ghana watch the football match especially the FIFA World Cup and other leagues with such passion that cannot be explained in words. From children to elders and women, everyone is equally passionate when it comes to football. Same is the case with the football players that they are considered as more than national heroes because the whole nation’s hopes rely on them.
On the other hand, footballers like Asamoah Gyan have failed the nation for so many times that people don’t bother to call out anymore. On the other hand, when Ghanaians are considering Gyan their national hero, he has recently revealed that he is completely unbothered by what Ghanaians say about him. Of course, footballer would make that comment as his only goal is money.
Asamoah Gyan has recently appeared in an exclusive interview after losing one major game. When the host asked him whether he gets affected by the insults of Ghanaians, the former Black Stars captain said the insults from Ghanaians don’t bother him as he is the Ghanaian native and he knows the deal. He said other players who were not born and raised in Ghana get offended but he doesn’t because insults are in his DNA. He said he is used to the insults so much that they don’t affect him anymore. He doesn’t take the public backlash from Ghanaians seriously.
