President Donald Trump has said that he disagreed with many suggestions of National Security Adviser, John Bolton and therefore he has sacked him.
He tweeted that he has informed John Bolton that White House didn’t need his services anymore. He further informed that the appointment process of new national security adviser will take place next week. Mr. Trump reportedly took the decision after Mr. Bolton argued with the president over the cancellation of peace dialogues with Taliban.
He has been working as National Security Adviser since April 2018 after Michael Flynn and HR McMaster in Mr. Trump era. According to White House press secretary, US president disagreed with many of his policies.
However, Mr. Bolton didn’t accept Mr. Trump’s tweet and reveal that in reality he had resigned but the president said that we’ll talk about it tomorrow. He maintained his statements while reporting to other media sources that he had submitted his resignation before Mr. Trump tweet.
A deputy of Mr. Bolton, Charles Kupperman will be the acting national security adviser. Some sources claimed that National Security Council has emerged out as a distinct entity under John Bolton in the White House. An official revealed that Mr. Bolton focused on his own initiatives and even didn’t attend the meetings.
