Nigerian awards winning songstress, Tiwa Savage has recently condemned the horrific xenophobic attacks in South Africa. The songstress was all set to perform in South Africa on the coming 21st of September however, barbaric xenophobic attacks has changed her mind.
Tiwa Savage took to her official Twitter account and posted a brief note about how she can’t see the butchering and killing of her own people so she decides to cancel her upcoming show. She had to perform at the much-awaited DSTV Delicious Festival in Johannesburg before the outbreak of the terrible attacks.
She tweeted, “I refuse to watch the barbaric butchering of my people in SA. This is SICK. For this reason, I will NOT be performing at the upcoming DSTV delicious Festival in Johannesburg on the 21st of September. My prayers are with all the victims and families affected by this.”
Moreover, other celebrities including South African artist AKA, Nigerian singers like Burna Boy, Wizkid, Davido, and others have also condemned the horrific attacks by taking to the social media.
