Xiaomi presented the Redmi Note 8 Pro last week featuring a 64 MP main camera. This week, this device has been offered for sale. By now, it already broke the brand’s record for the initial sale – it was able to sell more than 300,000 on the first day of market sale.
Just for the sake of comparison, the earlier phone in the series, Redmi Note 7 was able to sell just 100,000 phones sales on its first day in the market. This much phones were sold in less than 10 minutes.
A truly interesting phone is present in the form of Redmi Note 8 Pro. Put aside the cameras, it is having octa-core CPU, Helio G90T chipset, 4,500 mAh battery charged up by 18W fast-charging. This is much a bigger thing to get from just CNY1,399 (equaling about €180 or $200).
If this is an expensive choice, then Redmi is also presenting a regular Note 8. It comes with an 18W fast-charging, 48 MP camera sensor and Snapdragon 665 chipset. It has a price tag of CNY999, equivalent to €125 or $140.
China is selling both of these phones at this time – Manu Kumar Jain, Xiaomi India director said that the Pro version is officially going to be out in India and rest of the international markets eight weeks later than the initial launch.
