Hurricane Dorian has wreaked havoc in the Bahamas and left behind a trail of destruction while rescue teams have arrived in northern parts of Bahamas.
Prime Minister Hubert Minnis revealed that some areas had completely devastated while at least 20 casualties reported in the area. Hurricane Dorian hit the area on 1 September and badly affected the Abaco Islands and Grand Bahama for 48 hours. Though Dorian has now gone towards the north but the eastern US seaboard is still on risk.
Predictions say that hurricane will reach on the coast of Carolinas within a day. Dorian has now weakened into category two storm. PM Minnis further informed that hurricane Dorian marks one of huge national crises in the history of Bahamas. It is devastating, horrifying, decimated and apocalyptic.
Aerial imagery of Abacos showed that destruction has spread over miles with roofs torn off, cars overturned, debris scattered in the area and high water levels. Opposition Leader, Philip Brave Davis made an aerial visit of the islands and called it a horrible sight.
