Huawei’s branch in Ghana has established IP Club in the capital of Ghana with the motive to provide a joint platform for private and public sector IT experts for the development of the IP industry. IP Club is the sole platform of its kind and another initiative to transform the country into a knowledge-based society.
Vice President of tech giant for the region, Chen Zhijun launched the country’s first IP GALA in Accra. He said that digital transformation is bringing changes on the globe and our company wanted to provide a healthy and sustainable ecosystem to help stakeholder.
Mr. Chen Zhijun further asserted that HUAWEI will introduce more technology and resources into Ghana in the near future. It will further help to escalate the provision of advanced intelligent IP network solutions.
IP GALA event held under the theme of ‘Rethink Ip For A Digital Economy’ in Accra. Deputy Minister of Communications, Hon. George Andah and 200 officials from Telcos and IT enterprise also participated in the event from Ghana. They exchanged their ideas about challenges in digital transformation and public and private sector association. Deputy Minister of Communications called the IP Club inaugural a timely intervention to enable Ghana to compete with the ICT professionals on a global level.
