Ghanaian well-known actress, Nadia Buari has recently expressed the fact that Ghana should also consider the idea of honoring its artists by making a ‘Walk of Fame’ just like Hollywood. The actress feels extremely proud of the honorary award shows/ceremonies like Golden Movie Awards and hopes for a progressive addition in the coming future.
Nadia Buari was exclusively interviewed by the well-known host, MzGee in which she talked about the importance of appreciating and honoring the great work of the artists. While talking about the ‘Golden Movie Award’ that she got, the actress said, “Definitely I was actually very honored to know that my works are being acknowledged, watched and appreciated, it’s really humbling. I mean the organizers honored me and I’m just a recipient and I’m just humbled, so as to whether I deserved it or not, I have worked hard over the years.”
On the other hand, when the host asked her about her opinion on the suggestion of the director of the Golden Movie Awards that Ghana should make a ‘Walk of Fame’ just like Hollywood, the actress said its a brilliant idea. As people go all up to Hollywood, CA in order to take pictures with the stars of their idols. So it would only be fair if Ghanaians could take pictures with the stars of their idols in Ghana as well.
