The opposition NDC’s Elections Director Elvis Afriyie Ankrah has disproved allegations that some aspirants may have an unfair chance ahead of the parliamentary primaries on Saturday.
Elvis Afriyie Ankrah said the party has taken measures to guarantee that the practice of the elections is free of any type of misdemeanor before, during and after the elections.
According to Elvis Afriyie Ankrah, without the express approval of all aspirants in that constituency, no name can be inserted to the register of voters of the party in any constituency.
He said that Ghana police has taken the security of the polling stations and no unauthorized person is allowed to enter in the station and voters will also be able to enter after the voting time starts and without the National Identity card no voter will be allowed to enter in the Polling stations.
There is a total of 524 candidates who are going to contest the elections from the 157 constituencies.
