People from all over the globe tribute the ex-Ghana striker, Manuel Junior Agogo.
The former football player of Ghana, who was the one to play for several English football clubs too has passed away at the age of 40.
Junior Agogo scored 11 goals in 27 matches played for Ghana’s national team. A remarkable goal of his career was when he scored the winning goal in 2008 in the Africa Cup of Nations; quarterfinal match as Ghana beat Nigeria, whereas in the semifinals, Cameroon beat the Black Stars.
The reason of demise of the fan favorite player, Agogo was a stroke for the previous couple of years.
Many football fans are paying tribute to the late player and President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is among these people.
President Nana Addo commented about Agogo in a Tweet that he was a fine as a player and whenever he was who asked to be a part of the national team, he stood for the nation with pride.
Asamoah Gyan, the present general captain of Black Stars declared that the news gutted him.
