TI (Transparency International) opened the latest survey report. TI reported that Ghana is the second most corrupt country in Africa. While ranking the countries Nigeria and South Africa are placed in the first position.
The Corruption Perception Index opened that 71% of people believed that corruption has crossed the board over the year. 29% of people are satisfied. The report also concluded that how leaders are fighting with corruption. The general public demanded a quick solution to the problem. The most concerning point of this report is that the government is continuously failing and not able to fulfill the duty. Abuse of power, secret deals and bribery are crimes ruling African countries.
The overall survey results are stated as 58% of people belongs to Africa are not satisfied with their government. 28 countries were involved in the survey.
The corruption in the following department is on its peak: “Police department but the strongly negative assessment of business executives was new, compared to previous surveys.”
