Today, Xiaomi has declared that it is joining the Inter-Transfer Alliance group in which vivo and Oppo are there to enable their users to easily do file transfer in a service that is similar to AirDrop. At this time, this platform is just offered in open beta and people using devices created by different companies will be able to exchange documents and photos simply by swiping on the screen or by a single click.
The company gives a good news that this exchange of files is based simply on Bluetooth and it does not need any 4G data or it also doesn’t use a lot of battery or any third-party apps. The file transfer speed can go as high as 20 MB/s, therefore, you would need less than two minutes to transfer a standard 720p movie between phones.
Just three members are currently present in the Inter-Transfer Alliance, but Xiaomi is asking others to join hands. It can be said for some certainty that in the coming days, brands such as Redmi and Realme will also be in this alliance on condition that their parent companies become part of the team.
