North Korean government has denied resuming peace talks with Seoul citing military drills as a root cause which compelled the country to take such decision. In the meantime, the South Korean military has confirmed that its neighbor has further tested and fired two missiles into the sea which is the sixth missile test in a month.
In the latest launch, Pyongyang has fired two projectiles roundabout 23:00 GMT which covered the distance of 230km and reach 30km altitude.
North Korea began the missile testing experiments after Leader Kim Jong-un and US President Donald Trump settled to continue stalled denuclearization discussions. Both leaders met in June and decided to continue stalled talks. At the moment, Pyongyang has to experience international sanctions over its nuclear weapons program.
South Korean President Moon Jae-in aimed to integrate Korean peninsula till 2045. He vowed this goal while delivering a speech about peninsula liberation from Japanese rule. Korean peninsula distributed into two parts after World War II. Mr. Moon envisioned before the world for a new, peaceful and developed Korean peninsula in his televised speech.
In reaction, North Korea has dismissed the possibility of peace talks in a situation where South has resumed its mutual military exercises with the US. The statement also raised a question on the chances of talks while Seoul is trying for war to destroy us. The statement also accused President Moon as ‘a shameless man’.
