Oppo displayed its waterfall display concept phone in the last days of the previous month displaying its 88-degree curved edges. Li Xiang, the product manager of vivo posted a picture some days after that which displayed the curved display panel of the coming NEX 3 having somehow a similar curve as that of the Oppo’s prototype.

Xiang took a further step and disclosed a sketch of the vivo NEX 3, displaying the design in addition to the motivating idea behind it. The most prominent feature is the display having a very sharp fall resembling a waterfall and the least side bezels.
No notch is there in the display of the phone, therefore, a pop-up camera is perhaps going to be there and no side buttons will be featured due to the extremely curved sides. The sketch is also displaying the back side of NEX 3 in addition to offering us the first look at its display. For the triple camera, the back is having a circular cutout. The circular casing of a wristwatch is the main inspiring idea for this sort of design, as Xiang says.

Stakes are very high that the vivo NEX 3 will come with an in-display fingerprint scanner and it going to feature its 3.5mm headphone jack.
