Fatau Dauda, the ex goalkeeper of Black Stars, says that don’t sack Kwesi Appiah. He is a good coach. But he should be given some time to set the team and improve himself. He warned the Ghanaians not to put pressure on him. He needs improvement and it doesn’t mean that we expel him. Fatau Dauda said that nobody is born perfect, everyone has flaws. So, he should be respected.
He is also very sad at the wrong decision of Ghanaians that they want a foreigner coach and not the Ghanaian coach, Kwesi Appiah. They are Ghanaian and they should respect their Ghanaian coach and they wanted to replace him.
He also said that it is wrong to blame Appiah for the failure of the team. The team itself was also involved in all of it. Both were involved in the failure.
It is completely wrong to judge him by the performance in that tournament. He needs improvement so he should be given a 2nd chance. He performed his duty very well. He trained the team properly but it all depends on fate. AFCON 2019 was the worst experience of Black Stars in history. But it is not fair to blame the coach for the failure. People should respect their hometown coach. We should give him a chance to prove himself right.
Give 2nd chance to Kwesi Appiah, Fatau Dauda!
