Four people became the victim of a stabbing spree in Southern California just a few days after El Paso and Dayton mass shootings. Local police services cited robbery, hate, homicide as main motives behind the assault.

Garden Grove Police Lt Carl Whitney reported that they have detained a suspect but didn’t reveal his identity. He said that the suspect was an angry man who hurt many people. The recent stabbing rampage came just a few days after the twin mass shooting incidents in Ohio and Texas which claim 31 human lives.
In the recent incident, Garden Grove and neighboring Santa Ana became the victim of stabbing rampage which continued till two hours. Lt Carl Whitney further informed that a brutal armed man attacked the people with big machete-type knives.
Two of the deceased belong to suspect’s apartment building. Another victim was serving as a 7-Eleven security guard. Local police officials received the robbery call first from two different people at16:00 PST. Meanwhile, they also got the news of burglary at Garden Grove’s bakery.
After robbing the bakery, the armed man moved towards his apartment and brutally stabbed two persons on the way after a quarrel. At about 18:00 PST, he attacked a man in a gas station. Police tracked him out near 7-Eleven Store in Santa Ana and held him along with a large knife and a gun which he snatched from the security guard.
At that time, police got the news of another murder of an employee on Subway restaurant. Lt Whitney condemned the stabbing spree and called it an evil act. He said that he never such crime during his 30 years of his service. Two people also received injuries.
