Ghanaian rap god, Sarkodie has recently defended the fellow rapper, Medikal’s statement about him being the savior of the rap genre in Ghana. The rap god says that there is nothing wrong with Medikal’s claim of saving the rap in Ghana from extinction.
It all started when Medikal gave quite a controversial statement about him being the ultimate messiah of rap in Ghana. His statement went viral in no time and he got major backlash for disrespecting the other more talented yet senior rappers.
However, it seems like Sarkodie doesn’t see the whole situation this way as he said it’s how Medikal feels and he simple expressed his feelings nothing else. He said, “Medikal genuinely feels that and he has to be able to say what he feels. He expressed it. He wasn’t disrespecting anyone. When I am rapping and I say I am the best, I don’t think about Obrafour even though (he is champion).”
