President Donald Trump’s ‘go back’ tweet against congresswomen has also infuriated US House of Representatives who have passed a resolution to condemn President Donald Trump as racist. The resolution follows Mr. Trump’s racist comments against four congresswomen famous as the squad.
Four Republicans, Will Hurd, Brian Fitzpatrick, Fred Upton, and Susan Brooks also voted in favor of the resolution. Justin Amash, an independent candidate, also approved the resolution.
Nancy Pelosi, the House Speaker urged the members of both Democratic and Republican parties to condemn Mr. Trump for the racist tweets. Pelosi’s support has enraged Republicans and they blamed the Democratic leader for not following rules and regulations.
The resolution passed after US President posted racist remarks against newly-appointed congresswomen. Remarks against Alexandria, Ilhan Omar, Ayanna Pressley, and Rashida Tlaib sparked widespread anger against the president.
