Isaac Adongo, a Member of Parliament (MP) for Bolgatanga Central constituency, has demanded the extension in the process of the limited voter registration by one week.
The process of limited voter registration was started by the Election Commission on 17th June and which has ended today on 7 July.
Some of the voters have said that they were not able to get register themselves and want them to get register and they also appealed to the Electoral Commission to extend the exercise by one week so they can easily get registered and enjoy their democratic right to exercise the right of vote.
Isaac Adongo was monitoring the process of the registration and he said that this is a great possibility that many people will remain unregistered so it is a great need to extend the date.
