Healthy eating is eating smart and enjoying your food. A healthy diet does not consist of strict restrictions or thin unrealistic foods. It’s about feeling good, having more energy, improving your health and improving your mood. Our body needs a balance of proteins, fats, carbohydrates, fiber, vitamins, and nutrients in our eating routine to maintain a healthy body. A pattern of healthy eating habits and proper physical activity reduces the risk of serious chronic diseases.
Your body image is how you think and feel about your body. Self-perception includes your thoughts, observations, and emotions. Some people diet because they have a bad body image, instead of being well nourished nutritionally or in a healthy weight range. While it is important to maintain healthy eating habits, a constant diet can cause physical illness and depression.
You don’t have to completely eliminate the foods or change everything. A better approach is to first make small changes. People feel like plates of mixed greens are boring, which is for what reason they’re not as psyched to have them for lunch. The veggies will offer a lot of fiber to fill you up and sustain energy.
One should eat a variety of foods and vegetables of many colors, proteins, fats and starch for a healthy, and good body image. Erin Heatherton says:
