Road trips can be sensational and can be lethal at times. We are going to drive through some of the most terrifying and dangerous roads across the globe.
Pakistan is located in South Asia. Pakistan is home to a number of towering mountain ranges including the Himalayas and the Karakoram. KKH runs through Karakorum, Hindukush, and Himalayan mountain terrains. The tourists enjoy spectacular scenic views on either side of the road. The road connects Pakistan with China.

North Yungas Road is also called ‘death road’. The road steeps down dramatically as it connects La Paz to Coroico in Bolivia. North Yungas claimed lives of 200 people a year. Now automated traffic is directed on another road. Only cyclists and bikers can take a ride to feel the sensations of true adventure.

Ruta 40 is believed to be the longest road in Argentina (3,100 miles). Ruta 40 connects the north of Argentina to the South. The road encompasses around 20 national parks, the Andes Mountains and wild and stunning remote town, Patagonia.

Dalton highway is scariest in the sense of loneliness. This two-way gravel road runs through Alaska. It is nearly 415 miles in length. And this two-dimensional road rests in isolation from the mainstream world.

Sichuan-Tibet highway connects Tibet with China. It stretches across a distance of nearly 5,500 kilometers. The road has a very high death toll record, averaging 7000 deaths per 100,000 travelers.

The road has so many twists and turns that one requires a special permit to drive on the Skippers Canyon road. The convulsions can be lethal at times.
The road leads tourists to Sagada, which is a very popular tourist destination. The road is slippery and prone to mud and landslides.
The panoramic views across Pasubio astonish tourists’ big time. But the journey requires a lot of care and attention. There are zones of prohibition and limited access which speaks volumes about the harrows associated with Pasubio.

Fairy Meadows is located in Gilgit-Baltistan region of Pakistan. The road heads to Nanga Parbat which is called the ‘Killer Mountain’. The road starts at Karakoram Highway and ends at a village which lies over 3000 feet above the sea-level.
