Iran forces have targeted a flying military surveillance drone by the United States on Strait of Hormuz and shot it down with a missile.
According to the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps, they shot down the drone for violating the limit of our airspace territory. Our defense is a clear message for the United States. However, the US military has condemned the motiveless attack by Iran’s IRGC and also claimed that the drone was flying over international waters when attacked.
The incident has further tightened the US-Iran relations. Earlier America has ordered the deployment of more troops to secure the Gulf route for ships. It had strongly insisted on Iranian insolvent in Gulf tankers attack but Tehran didn’t accept it. Iran’s announcement of breaching the enriched uranium limit at the end of the month further intensified the situation.
Iran’s Revolution Guards Corps claimed that they had shot down a spy unmanned drone, entered in Iran’s airspace for spying, near Kuhmobarak. Commander-in-Chief of IRGC threatened the United States to respect our regional integrity. He further said that the activity has given America a clear-cut message that Iranian will resist and defend hardly for any foreign invasion into their land.
He further said we didn’t favor war but we have potential to defend our country in a decisive way. The US military later confirms the drone shot down by Iranian missile at 23:35 GMT at Strait of Hormuz. Meanwhile, it claimed that the drone was flying over international space when targeted.
