The United States has ordered its military to deploy additional 1,000 troops in the Middle East to combat with the aggressive attitude of Iranian forces. US Navy has provided new images proof to link Iran with the latest oil tankers attack.
Washington said that Iran backed the plans of blowing holes in the ships with mines but Tehran discarded this accusation. Tensions mounted further with Iran’s announcement of breaching the enriched uranium limit at the end of this month. Iran made this decision after the United States tightened sanctions on it. Earlier, on condition of limiting its nuclear program, sanctions were lifted under 2015 deal. However, the United States left the deal and now Iran announced to leave a part of the deal.
Iranian President Hassan Rouhani explained that they didn’t want to wage war with any country and had stayed devoted to its international commitments. A US military base in the north of Baghdad targeted with three rockets which luckily left no one injured.
US Acting Defense Secretary Patrick Shanahan revealed that deployment only made for the security of our military groups, working in the region. The military will adjust more troops if needed by monitoring the region’s situation. The deployment of additional troops in Middle East is a safety measure of Pentagon after tankers attack in the Gulf.
