In a reaction to the recent oil tankers attack in the Gulf, Saudi Arabia has called for rapid action to secure energy supplies in the Gulf Region.
Energy Minister, Khalid al-Falih described the recent attacks a warning for market stability. Earlier on Thursday, Norwegian and Japanese oil tankers hit in Gulf region a month after previous tankers attack.
Iran immediately discarded the possibility of its involvement but the United States provided the video proof of its alleged involvement. This situation has further mounted tensions between US and Iran. Oil prices also escalated to 4% in the world market after the recent incident.
The head of international shipping association has revealed that many companies have instructed their ships to not travel in Strait of Hormuz and Gulf of Oman amid the possibility of further attacks. The video recording of a recent attack is providing proofs of US accusations against Iran.
Iran has appointed its Navy around all borders with Pakistan, Iraq, Gulf coast and the Arabian Sea. The forces have crafts, missiles, torpedoes and drones in abundance. Iran has called these attacks a conspiracy to disorganize its relations with other nations.
