Ghanaian footballer, Abdul Fatawu Safiu believes that Ghana’s Black Stars will win the 32nd edition of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Ghana couldn’t win the AFCON trophy since 1982 and there the current squad is under a huge pressure to end the trophy drought by winning the tournament.
However, Asante Kotoko striker, Fatawu Safiu, is hopeful about the Black Stars win. He believes that the 23-man squad is all set to win the 2019 AFCON title and team has to bring the trophy to the country for Ghanaians as they waited for too long.
Ex-Inter Allies striker Abdul Fatawu Safiu isn’t included in the final squad that will reach Egypt on 20th of June. Although, he’s expected to join Kotoko team members who are preparing for the competition against Hearts of Oak on Sunday.
Ghana’s Black Stars will be playing in Group F against Guinea Bissau, Cameroon, Benin.
