Ayew and Asamoah Gyan have arrived in Dubai after taking off from Accra on Sunday evening to join the rest of their teammates for pre-tournament camping.
Before the starting of AFCON 2019, the team has set up camp in UAE. Ghana’s Ambassador, Alhaji Ahmed Ramadan has met the team on arrival to UAE.
A lot of members joined the duo which includes Jorden Ayew, Christian Atsu, Felix Annan. Some other members of the team like head coach Kwasi Appiah, his assistant Ibrahim Andrew Tanko and goalkeepers’ trainer Richard Kingson. The first batch of players, who took off to Dubai on Saturday, is expected to join by the second batch on Monday.
According to GFA twitter handle, vice-captain Kwadwo Asamoah, Kassim Nuhu, John Boye, Mohammad Alhassan and others reported to camp on Saturday.
Before the starting of AFCON in Egypt, Ghan will play against Namibia and South Africa during their camping in UAE. AFCON is going to start on 21 June and the first match will be played on 25 June by Ghana’s against Benin.
For AFCON 2019, Deputy Captain Kawadon Asamoah, John Boye, Kassim Nuhu and Mohammad Alhassan are currently in Ghana’s team base Abu Dhabi.
