Abdul Rahman Baba told that from his early childhood he wanted to be a football player. The mercurical left-back told that when he took an interest in watching a good player, he did not find a particular player he looked up to.
He further told that he never found any role but he played and enjoyed the game. From his early childhood in Tamale, he wanted to be a professional player of football. His dream was to be a player and now he is happy to achieve it.
Whenever he went to the ground, he used to find the good players and tried to emulate their skills. He added that he started his career as a midfielder and later on his colt’s club coach in Tamale turned him into a defender.
Abdul Rahman Baba has played for Dreams FC, Kotoko, Greuther Furth, and Augsburg. Now he has spent the just ended season at Stade Reims on loan from Chelsea.
