This week Niantic, the developer of Pokémon GO declared that from 1st July, 2019 it is not going to support its Apple Watch version of the game. When this date goes by, the players would not have the ability to connect their iPhone app to their Apple Watch.

Initially this app was debuted by the company in September 2016 and then some months later they offered it for everyone. It was reported that on their watch the players were not able to play the entire game of Pokémon GO— it told them many things after getting connected to the phone such as informing them about how much distance they still have to cover before they can hatch an egg, furthermore, it displays the total number of experience points earned by them.
The company has added that they are giving a discount on the Watch app for the reason that they have presented a new feature last year to track the total steps taken by a player, named as Adventure Sync and the Watch app really does this. Niantic further says that now the trainers are no more supposed to divide their gameplay between a couple of devices.
