At least two people have reportedly killed and eighteen others injured in Japan stabbing after a knife-wielding assailant attacked students in Kawasaki.

The fatal attack occurred near a park and train station at about 23:00 GMT. The schoolchildren were waiting for a vehicle near Caritas elementary school when a suspicious man with two knives in his both hands stabbed them. As a result, an eleven years old girl and a man, aged 39, have lost their lives.
Fifty years old attacker later killed him by stabbing himself in his neck. The motive behind the violent crime is still unclear. Police services have identified the deceased as Hanako Kuribayashi, a student of sixth grade and Satoshi Oyama, an official from the foreign ministry.
Japanese Prime Minister, Shinzo Abe has strongly criticized the fatal Japan stabbing incident and called it a ‘harrowing case’. He further expressed his deepest condolences to the victims’ families. US President Donald Trump also expressed his sympathies to the families of sufferers. It was the last day of his state visit to Japan.
The bus driver at the spot reported that he watched the attacker when he moved towards the students. After stabbing the children outside, the man entered into the bus and attacked the student sitting inside the bus. Some witnesses heard him warning that ‘I am going to kill you’. Police arrested him after he stabbed himself too and he later died with wounds in hospital.
