More than 16 people reportedly wounded after their tourist bus hit by an explosion near Giza pyramids. At that time,tourist bus was moving ahead from Grand Egyptian Museum when an explosive device exploded near the fence of the museum.
Police is investigating the cause of the blast and suspects Islamist militants for conducting the attack. Last year in December, a roadside bombing hit a tourist bus wherein three foreigners and their local guide died.
An observer from the blast site said that he heard the sound of an explosion when it occurred near the museum next to Giza pyramids. Around 28 passengers including South African tourists were traveling in the bus. The blast struck the bus and blown out its windows.
Another car also smashed in the explosion. Around 7 African nationals and 10 locals from Egypt sustained various kinds of injuries in the blast.
