United States has called off his additional tally of diplomatic staff from Iraq. Because of tension hype with its Middle Eastern counterpart in Iran. United States has dispatched military missions and artillery into Iraq amidst soaring relations with Iran.
United States has been accusing Iran of playing ‘dirty games’ in the region. Now its retaliation time as U.S is sanguine of Iran’s ill doctrine and passive movements in Iraq.
Iran and the United States
U.S secretary of state Mike Pompeo considers war as the last option. Donald Trump too has said something similar contradicting any military adventure. But the situation doesn’t seem improving either. Instead the tension continues to mount between the two arch rivals.
U.S has been unable to draw a conclusive pattern and the exact nature of threat. U.S has been encouraged to pursue military action amidst chaos and turmoil in the region. Syria and Iraq are bleeding in the hands of intruders. Proxy wars and humanitarian crisis has become intense in recent years.
U.S and the NATO forces invaded the Syrian land initially to oust ISIS from the region. But U.S has been supporting local militia to fight Islamic State which seems ugly from the very onset.
Iran has its stakes in the region which aren’t hailed by the United States. Additionally the 2015 nuclear deal between Iran and global stakeholders doesn’t stand valid in recent times. As Trump and his administration has condemned such a deal.
Iran too is ready to expand its nuclear program in total defiance of the deal. Iran has announced it would go by all the nuclear development initiatives all ends without caring about the deal. The status of the deal is obscure and nearly null and void.
One hopes a better response from International players. A meaningful intervention can prevent war or war-like hysteria. The world cannot afford a war at any cost.
