A Boeing 737 plane slipped from the runway while landing due to thunderstorm and plunged into St Johns River in Florida State of USA. According to official sources, 22 passengers have shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment of injuries which they sustained during the incident.
Miami Air International’s operated chartered plane started its journey from Cuba’s Guantanamo Bay to Jacksonville. It was carrying 136 passengers and 7 crew members including civilian and military personnel. Boeing 737 plunged into St Johns River in its attempt to landing in stormy condition. Nobody reported dead, some passengers just sustained injuries and shifted to hospital. Naval Air Station from Jacksonville reported that they failed to recover the pets from the plane due to safety issues.
Cheryl Bormann, a passenger called it horrifying moments when plane bounced and the pilot lost the control. She further memorized this horrible time when they all fell into the water without knowing it is a river or ocean. All of them just realized one thing that plane’s fuel is leaking into the water. Captain Michael Connor from Jacksonville has called it miracle everyone remained save in the incident except getting some minor injuries.
