Ghanaian well-known artist, Desmond Blackmore popularly known as D-Black in the music industry has also played his part in the much-hyped Strongman and SarkCess Music split by commenting on the saga. The artist appeared in an exclusive interview with the well-known host, KOD and he talked about the split in detail.
It all started when the Ghanaian rap god, Sarkodie ended the partnership with the Ghanaian artist, Strongman and removed him from his record label (SarkCess Music). The split caused major hype in the Ghanaian music industry as most of the artists took a swipe to discuss the unexpected split.
Likewise, while speaking at the interview, D-Black also expressed the fact that two years are nothing to judge any artist which includes Strongman. The artist also owns his own record label ‘Black Avenue Muzik’ so he thinks he knows what he is saying about the split. He in fact defended Strongman by saying people who are saying he is not a good artist should keep the fact in mind that two years are nothing when it comes to building a music career.
He said, ‘It’s about loyalty. If an artist wants to leave after two years, I won’t work with you. It means you don’t care that the team is working to make your career a success.’
