An interesting stat is here – among the buyers of OnePlus 6T and Google Pixel 3 in Q4 of 2018 in the US, the most noteworthy have been the ex-owners of Samsung. Below 20% have been the users of iPhone.
We will get into the details. As a research data says, in the States about 51% of Pixel 3 buyers have been the owners of a Galaxy smartphone, whereas 31% of them were having a Galaxy S7 that was three year old. Whereas, 37% of the owners of OnePlus 6T were originally from a Samsung phone, a lot of them used either the above mentioned Galaxy S7 or a Samsung J2 Prime.
Another worth noting thing is that 80% of the sales of Pixel 3 were from Android devices owners’ and this thing may come out to be a disappointment for such a phone that was targeted to convert the iOS users.
They are not the leaders in the US market precisely, but still it is an important thing to note that the Google Pixel 3 explained for 7.3% of the entire sales of Verizon at some point in the last quarter of 2018 whereas the OnePlus 6T was able to get 2.4% of the total sales of T-Mobile.
While because of discounts on Apple and Samsung smartphones have caused the Q1 of 2019 to pass slowly for the OnePlus 6T.
