The lecture is supposed to be held at the Mensvic Hotel at East Legon in Accra, and the former President John Mahama is going to address it, in addition to financial analyst, Isaac Adongo and Member of Parliament for Bolgatanta Central constituency on Thursday, April 4.
The basic idea behind the public lecture is the rising financial risks of Ghana, external vulnerabilities and financial crunch: a preview of the economy not having the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and a postmortem of the Extended Credit Facility (ECF) Program.
The group issued a statement saying that the former Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Mrs Betty Mould Iddrisu is going to chair the meeting, while Mahama is the guest of honor.
A member of the CFR, Mr Gyasi Mensah has signed the statement, clarifying that the lecture is going to discuss in detail the four-year Extended Credit Facility Programme (ECF) of Ghana in addition to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and tell in short what the economy would be like when the IMF has gone away at last.
