As HMD Global has promised earlier, today they disclosed the Nokia X71 together with the flagship Nokia 9 PureView in Taiwan. This is coming out as the first Nokia branded device featuring a punch hole display in addition to being the first X-series phone to be offered outside of China.
The latest midranger is featuring a 6.39″ FHD+ display having a punch hole for the 16MP selfie shooter and a remarkable quoted 93% screen to body ratio. Snapdragon 660 is present under the hood coming together with 128GB storage and 6GB RAM, that you can expand by using a microSD card by up to 256GB.
The Zeiss branded triple camera setup is present at the back featuring 48MP (main), 5MP (depth) and 8MP (wide) units.
The flash is positioned next to the cameras whereas under that, a traditional fingerprint sensor is present. A 3.5mm headphone jack is also there.
Included in the Android One program, the Nokia X71 runs on Android 9.0 Pie. You can charge up its 3,500 mAh cell via the 18W fast charger present in the box.
The phone is having a price tag of TWD 11,900 (equaling to about $385/€345) while the sales are scheduled to start on April 30. As the earlier rumors say, the device is globally going to be presented as the Nokia 8.1 Plus.
