The yesterday’s Huawei event mostly circled around its two latest flagship smartphones, but earphones, smart sunglasses, and latest Watch GT editions were also disclosed. The latest SuperCharge power bank was also displayed having battery capacity of 12,000 mAh and two-way 40W charging rate.
The power bank is having a couple of USB ports – the first one is USB-A that offers up to 40W output, but just those devices which are compatible with the SuperCharge standard are naturally able to take advantage of the maximum speeds. USB-C is the second port, delivering Power Delivery charging, so you are able to charge rest of the non-Huawei devices in a short time. The LED light indicators and usual power button are there.
As Huawei says, the Huawei P30 Pro battery can be charged up to 70% by the power bank in only 30 minutes by having the 40W SuperCharge. You can charge the 12,000 mAh powerbank itself in just 2h 14 minutes at the 40W rate; or else, with a regular 10W charging you were supposed to wait more than five hours.
The SuperCharge Powerbank is having a price tag of €99, it weighs only 227 grams and is offered in Blue and White color variants. It has yet not been told in which areas it will be available as Huawei is not responding at this time.
