The Newcastle United winger received a plague as an honor from Football Black list for his continues support to the Arms around Child Foundation in Ghana.
Atsu supports the orphanage on continues occasion as part of his social responsibilities as a National icon.
The former Chelsea and FC Porto man was recognized for his philanthropic works in his native country by receiving the Cyrille Regis Players Award.
“I feel very honoured to receive this Cyrille Regis Players Award from @FootieBlackList for my work with @armsaroundthechild,” he tweeted.
“Thanks to everyone involved for your continued support and for recognising the work we are all trying to do in Ghana.”
He has joined the Black Stars team for Saturday’s Cup of Nations qualifier against Kenya at the Accra Sports Stadium.
