Ghanaian Awards Winning Dancehall Act, Samini
Ghanaian reggae and dancehall legendary musician, Samini has said he is too young to even think about becoming the following leader of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA).
In a latest interview, Samini said the stage needs him more by and by than the office of MUSIGA. Read his statement as below:
‘I believe I’m unreasonably young for that. For Obour’s situation, I think he had done what he expected to do in front of an audience and he was prepared to surrender the phase for office, I think the stage needs me more than the office right now.’
MUSIGA is an affiliation set up to see to the welfare of Ghanaian musicians. Samini has dropped seven studio albums, all of which delighted in high business achievement. He is as of now advancing his Untamed collection. The collection was number 8 on the Main 10 at the Billboard Reggae Albums Chart days after it debuted.
Emmanuel Samini Otherwise known as Batman who hails from Wa in the upper West District was conceived in 1982 to Mr G.A Samini and Theresa Nusala. He had his basic and primary education at Holy Family Basic School and afterward proceeded at St Magaraet Mary Sec school, Dansoman for his secondary education.
He has lived in Dansoman since he was 9 years and that was the point at which he understood the singing potential in himself. What’s more, presently with just 2 years in the Music industry in Ghana he won the reverence of most music commentators in Ghana.
With just one collection surprisingly, the name Batman is one of the commonest catchphrases on the lips of numerous music fans in Ghana. His tunes are sung by almost every Ghanaian paying little heed to their situation in the public eye.
