Specialist and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Dara Salaam Group of Companies, Alhaji Yusif Ibrahim, has said that he holds no resentment against previous President Jerry John Rawlings, over the last’s annihilation of his five-million-dollar lodging, amid his residency as President.
“I’m never irate with anyone. I realize that whatever transpires, that is the thing that God says will occur so I don’t have anything against him. That is the thing that the Qur’an says, that you ought to forgive and never look back.”
It had been asserted that the 65-room Pier Hotel at the Airport Residential Area in Accra had been pulled down in 1999 on the requests of JJ Rawlings who speculated that it was co-claimed by Sam Jonah, whom he had dropped out with.
Notwithstanding, Same Jonah rejected these cases expressing that Rawlings had been informed that Alhaji Yusif was supporting his political adversary and did not mess with this.
